What WMBA Summer Camp is all about

WMBA Summer Camp is built for kids who want a great week of summer — learning baseball, making friends, and building confidence.

This is not “elite-only” programming. It’s a welcoming camp where everyone can improve and everyone can have fun.

Coaching & Supervision

WMBA Summer Camp is planned and delivered by Baseball Ontario trained coaches as well as supporting staff focused on creating a safe, positive environment where kids can learn and thrive. Our staffing scale will be matched to registration to ensure strong supervision and quality instruction.

Camp Director
Tyler Schaeffer will serve as Camp Director (supported by additional counsellors as registration grows).

  • Sunscreen + hat
  • Running shoes / cleats
  • Optional personal gear (bat/helmet/gloves) — label everything

WMBA will provide shared equipment (balls, training tools, station gear) to support camp activities.

Quick FAQ

Is this camp only for experienced players?
Not at all. This camp is designed for all skill levels — including first-time players.
Can girls attend?
Yes — and we would love to see lots of girls attend. We work intentionally to create a welcoming, supportive camp culture.
What happens if it rains?
We plan for weather. When needed, we will move activities to the WMBA Bullpen Indoor Facility.
Can I register for more than one week?
Yes. Registration is weekly — families can choose one week or multiple weeks (space permitting).
